
Born in 1980 in Istanbul, Sergen Şehitoğlu studied at St. Joseph High School and mechanical engineering at Yıldız Technical University (YTÜ). He continued his master’s studies in photography at Marmara University and after his first solo exhibition at I.F.M Leica Gallery his works have been exhibited in various museums, galleries and art fairs in Istanbul, Berlin, Brussels, Amsterdam, London, İzmir, Ankara, Bursa, Eskişehir, Basel, Paris, Vienna, Dubai and Barcelona.
Recently creating works in the field of post-internet, mathematics and algorithms; the artist presents his data visualizations as photographic/visual/sculptural products.
Since 2020, he has been continuing his creative works in the field of window display design and has been designing displays for various brands.
Having published the books “O dB” in 2013, “Kill Memories” in 2016 and “Seascapes (at lockdown)” in 2021 Şehitoğlu is one of the founding members of the photography initiative GFI and founder-editor of the independant art magazine “xx-yy-magazine”(www.arsivdergi.com).
Additionally, he serves as an instructor at Istanbul Fashion Academy (IMA), teaching courses on aesthetics, art and window display design.
He is the art consultant of YUNT Art and Interaction Space. (www.yunt.art)
He lives and works in Istanbul.He is represented by Sanatorium Gallery Istanbul.

Architectural Consultant
Tuba Şehitoğlu, who conducts studio courses as a visiting lecturer in the Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department at Medipol University, received her bachelor’s degree from İ.T.Ü Architecture and her master’s degree from the same university’s Architectural Design Department. During her master’s education, she worked in design offices and won various awards in Architectural-Urban Design Project Competitions she participated in. In 2016, she founded an architecture and interior design firm named GIGOFİS with Zeynep Akten and carried out design and implementation projects for various types of buildings such as hotels, restaurants, residences, and stores both domestically and internationally. Şehitoğlu is also designing healthy, modular, and wooden semi-temporary structures with the YUVA Project, which she co-founded, aiming to protect nature and humans after earthquakes.

Project Architect
Tuğçe Çakmakçıoğlu, who graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University Interior Architecture Department in 2017, worked as an interior architect in various offices and gained experience. Afterward, she founded TU Studyo in 2020. Since 2022, she has been working as a project architect with Sergen Şehitoğlu.

Project Architect
Akyürek, who graduated from Yıldız Technical University Architecture Department in 2015, completed his Master’s Degree at Middle East Technical University in 2019. After working in various architectural offices both domestically and internationally, he has been working as a project architect with Sergen Şehitoğlu since 2022.
